Meet the Team

After having studied pattern making in Grenoble, France, Will moved to Paris to pursue a career in the fashion industry. His attention to detail and love of working with quality materials led to his discovery of woodworking. He is passionate about using natural materials to bring spaces to life. He is a true jack of all trades, the backbone to any small business.

Julia has worked as a pastry cheffe, baker and cheffe for over fifteen years, in London and Paris, before moving back to Canada to start working on Terre & Neige. She notably worked as a baker at Brick House in London, as line cook at La Petite Table and as sous-cheffe at Holybelly in Paris. She is passionate about meeting local farmers, eating good food, and talking people’s ears off. She loves to share her knowledge of cooking with others, and enjoys challenging herself with creating seasonally inspired menus that showcase the best of what the region has to offer.

During your stay, you may also meet their two wild children, and their mini-weiner dog Lou.

Our Project

Terre & Neige originated in 2019 with the idea of slowing down, and offering an immersive experience into forestland and local agriculture. In March 2020, we moved our little family from Paris, France to Val-des-Monts, Quebec, and started to work on our dream project. Our vision is to offer sustainable luxury stays in cosy cabins accompanied by seasonal food baskets, prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Our mission is to create low impact and environmentally friendly experiences on 83 acres of mountainous terrain.

Our Suppliers

We work with like minded local producers and businesses, to highlight the best of what the region has to offer. The small businesses that we support have a like minded view and are sensitive to sustainable development and are environmentally conscious.

The cabins are equipped with biodegradable soap products made by Ash & Posy, and our linens are sourced from Maison Tess. Our firewood comes from trees that have fallen on the land or from arborists that are based less than 100km from our site.

Our food baskets are composed of local and seasonal ingredients. We are always on the lookout for local farmers and producers who share our passion for generous food.
